RV Friendly Halloween Multi-Use or Reusable Decorations

Hello Campers, 

If you are on the road this Halloween you may want to decorate for the holiday, but do not want take up valuable space in your RV. Here are five easy items to add some spooky vibes to your trip. 

1. LED Light strips

Mood lighting is everything right? These can be purchased online at places like Amazon or in-store at stores like Walmart or Target. Some come with one preset color while others offer a variety of options. You can keep these up year round and switch the color as it suits you. They also come in both battery operated and plug in versions so whether you will be off the grid or at a fully equipped site, you can enjoy the extra lighting. 

2. Character Trash/Leaf Bags

Fun and useful, these bags can also be found online or in-store at select locations. They are commonly used to store leaves, weeds, etc. then serve as some yard decoration. If you are looking to decorate and tidy up your campsite, these are for you! Just make sure to anchor them down with something in case of wind. 

3. Colored Lightbulbs

If you have an RV with easily changeable lightbulbs, then this is an easy way to add some Halloween vibes to your trip. Many home improvement stores carry a variety of lightbulbs in a variety of colors. These can also be reused in your house or next year if stored properly. 

4. Plastic Pumpkins

Real pumpkins are heavy, smell, and create a mess. Recently, stores have started selling plastic, carveable pumpkins as a alternative. These can then be saved for the years to come to use as decoration. If you really want to make sure its put to  use, cut off the top and use it as a container. 

5. Fake Spiderwebs

Easy, reusable, and minimal space invader. These can be found almost anywhere during the Halloween season. Amp it and get some plastic spider rings to attach to your cobwebs.
