Electric golf carts are easier to maintain than gas for long term: The world is slowly moving more and more to electric in the automotive space, and golf carts are no exception. Gas carts are getting less and less common. Being able to get gas carts repaired is becoming increasingly difficult compared to electric carts because of the lack of parts. 

Electric golf carts are priced similar to gas carts: A lot of people think that gas carts will cost less, however new gas carts are actually priced very similarly to new electric carts so you really aren't saving any money by purchasing a gas cart over electric. 

Noise level: Traditional gas carts are incredibly noisy. If this is something that matters to you, then electric carts are your best bet. They have little to no sound depending how hard you are making the engine work. 

Electric golf carts have greater multi-use: Electric carts can be driven on the golf course, at the campground, or even inside a building if need be. Icon golf carts also come street legal, and while some cities don't allow gas carts to be driven around neighborhoods, most allow electric golf carts. 

Gas prices: With costs rising every year, it is enough of a headache to worry about gas prices when filling up your car, but what about your golf cart? Don't let something like gas prices take away from your recreational experiences or discourage you from going all together.
